Don’t know what your tolerance is for whisky but with the surname McCrarey, it should be good. When I have a bad cough I make a hot toddy. Whiskey, honey, lemon juice and hot water. Works like magic.
I learned a long time ago that I can’t save the world. If I gave money to every person I encounter at a red light holding a sign asking for money or to every solicitation I get in the mail then I would be broke and need a handout. I believe in giving back but limit myself to a select few charities I believe in and limit the amount as well. Life is not fair, I get it.
I saw that Crazy Carabao craft beer sign behind Joy. Sounds interesting. Have you indulged?

P899 for a burger is a bargain.The Golden Boy burger at De Daltons in Amsterdam goes for 5,000 euro. At todays exchange rate that’s $5,394. McCrarey, you can’t take it with you, or so I’m told.

Is an eye exam in the PI like in the States. Do they have all the fancy equipment? Check for glaucoma with the puff of air and dilate your eyes?
My yobo has been telling me for years that I need glasses. I finally decided to go to the eye doctor to prove her wrong. Now I have to hide these fucking glasses.

You’re not old McCrarey. 67 is the new 37, in case you haven’t heard. Truth be told, I say that cause I’m 62 and that would make me 32.
Nothing to be sorry about John. During my street-running days of my youth I’m pretty sure I saw a few that resembled your chalk outline. That one there looks to have a lot of bush.
The club maze reminds me of one of those mazes where they put a mouse in a maze and he stumbles around trying to find the cheese. Hope you do better than the mouse.

Interesting that basketball is a much-loved sport in the PI. Soccer I get but basketball is surprising. While we are on the subject of basketball, you may or may not know that Dennis Rodman’s dad lived in Angeles City up until his death a few years back.
I always enjoy the chalk-outline, for lack of a better term, of your walks in the hood. Can you take a walk one of these days where the outline looks like a penis? That would be epic.
When you were talking about spending time with a friend who never lets you down I thought you were going to say Rosy Palm.
“Just say no to grass”! Remember back in the 70’s it was, “no ass, no grass, no gas, no ride”?

Texas Joe has come a long way since his humble beginnings on a trailer. Food looked delicious and glad you took care of your hard-workin waitress pardners. Here in these not-so-United-States, a walk-up fast-food joint has a tip jar waiting for you. Ya know what I tell-em Mccrarey? I say here’s a tip for ya, “pull yer pants up”. Of course ,then I have to make sure no one spits on my French fries.(Freedom Fries in a small town)

Here I was thinking that only Koreans are enamored with Spam. Not a big fan but do like it in my Budae Jjigae. Anyone ever gift you some Spam when you were in the ROK?
That breakfast steak was looking good. I’ve had steak and eggs for breakfast at the Waffle House but I’m guessing yours was a tad tastier. Ya got to admit though, you can’t beat the Waffle House atmosphere at 3AM on a Saturday. Just ask Kid Rock.
Those two construction workers “doing work” must be unionized. The guy in the orange shirt looks like he’s doing a stretching exercise while the other guy is supervising him. McCrarey, tell them fellas if they want to goof off all day they need to get a government job. US Government that is.

Chico And The Man was watched religiously in my younger days. Along with other classics like All In The Family, The Jeffersons, Police Woman(had a crush on Angie Dickinson), Good Times(Dyn-O-Mite), One Day At A Time(had a crush on Valerie Bertinelli) and many others. Have 200 TV stations today and can’t find anything to watch but back in the 70’s had 4 stations and was glued to the TV.
Looking at those beach pics I see that many of the homes are almost in the water. If a tsunami hits, those folks are goners. Does a tsunami ever cross your mind? You are in good shape if one ever hits since you are up in them hills.
Them Filipinas don’t play around. Emperador and Jose Cuervo. Ouch!
I never want my nickname to be “I suck Dick”. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but “I Eat Pussy” is more like it.

Boss, I think I know what you wished for when you saw that rainbow. Your friend calling you Boss brings bag some childhood memories. My folks are deceased but when I was growing up in New Jersey my Dad called my Mom Boss and I always got a kick out of that. Still do. Hey, I’m sure you’ve been called worse. McCrarey, looks like the University of South Carolina Medical Center is a possible venue in the future. Get them sinuses cleaned out so you can smell that grub at Maurice’s Piggy Park and Rush’s.
Do your hard-earned dollars go further in Phuket or back home in the PI?

The Administration of Freaks as I call them. Must be exporting his ideas to other Hemispheres to include the Philippine archipelago. My best advice to you is lock your doors and windows. Then you must take up arms. I don’t know if the Second Amendment covers expats in The PI but arm yourself with a butter knife and stand by the front door. I can’t believe some Filipina chick could not make it to her residence to use her Dildo.
Just had to get it on while getting home and discards the box as if it’s a Bazooka Joe gum wrapper. A couple of thoughts on this McCrarey. The expat dilemma regarding certain medical procedures in a developing country is one that is not to be taken lightly. As much as I despise what the good ole USA has become, with its Woke-Ness and Defund The Police Mantra, I still regard medical care in these United States to be some of the best on the planet. Maybe not the cheapest, but if I am in cardiac arrest or in a horrific accident on a highway, I do know that my chances of giving the finger to the Grim Reaper are so much better here than in most parts of the world. If I were McCrarey what would I do? Well first I would drink a few beers and then put on my thinking cap. Option 1: Roll the Dice and have the procedure locally. Hope that Snake Eyes are not the outcome. Option 2: Head back to the ROK and have the procedure done. You have familiarity with the country. It’s relatively close. The medical care is primo and not that expensive. Option 3: Take that long-awaited trip back to COLA town. See the grandkids at the same time you take care of your medical needs. Heck, you might even have time to head on over to Maurice’s BBQ or Rush’s and have a culinary delight. I follow a guy on YouTube called “Philly in the Philippines”. He headed home 6 months ago to have some medical procedures done and see family. Whatever you decide McCrarey, I wish you all the best. Peace Out!
