Yep, it’s almost scary. Hell, all the live music bar bands start after my 9 pm bedtime. What the hell?

This post is going to be short and sweet (or sour) because I’ve got a plane to catch. Luckily, there isn’t much to report about my rainy Tuesday. It did start off with this message from God:

As seen from my patio.

Oh, and it turns out a rainbow DOESN’T mean the storm is over. It rained throughout the day and night. Anyway, took care of the grocery shopping, got my Ozempic injection (still flatlined on the weight), and later spent the drinking hours at Sloppy Joe’s and Wet Spot. It was actually a pretty boring day, even by my low standards.

And now it is January 2012 in the journey through LTG archives. Heh, a boring day back then at least included a random sexual encounter. Thanks for the memories!

Today’s YouTube video provides yet another reminder of why I enjoyed my first encounter with the 70s better than my current one.

Time for the funny business:

The most religious vegetable? Well, back in my church-going youth, the pastor always said, “lettuce pray.”
And you can’t con Crete.
I admit it took me longer than it should have to see what was going on.

Alright, that’s all I’ve got for now. Back tomorrow to share my first experience in Pacifico on Siargao Island. Assuming everything I’ve arranged for works out.

  1. My soul doth long to mark thy journey’s sights;
    May sweet content attend thy passing hours.

  2. I know I’m old because I wake up on Saturday morning at the same time I used to come home from Friday night partying.
