More love than Sally Field ever got. I did love her in “The Flying Nun” series though. I am waiting on the edge of my seat for your stories from the P.I. You did a great job sharing your life in Korea with us over the years. At times it had me laughing and at times it made me sad but it was always undeniably real and honest. John, you are what we called in the Army, Retired On Active Duty(ROAD). You earned it buddy. As far as FIGHT TONIGHT, i call bullshit. Something some command guy dreamt up. Lets “FIGHT TONIGHT” on Friday or Saturday night when we’re all downrange in the ville drunk out of our minds and tryin to bust a nut. I know John, you’re still employed by USFK so you have to “play the game” but you know it’s true. “All The Worlds’s A Stage And We Are The Actors”. On a lighter note, when you visit the States I would love to get together. My yobo and I are just down the road in Savannah. Would love to buy you dinner and a beer in Columbia . 65 days left in Korea. In the Army you were what we called a two-digit midget. guys would plaster a set of their stateside orders on their barracks room door to let everyone know their midget status. Good news John. Great news actually. A recent study of people who live 90 or older found that people who drank about two glasses of beer or wine a day were 18% less likely to experience a premature death. (Study conducted by University of California, Irvine) On the other hand, those who exercised 15 to 45 minutes a day cut the risk by just 11%. Looks like you’re going to live forever.
