Glad Dr Leon had good news for you, John – but be careful about the visceral fat around the stomach as that often leads to diabetes which can result in amputations.
I though Griff was a Weshman in a Liverpool shirt. You learn something new everyday.
I don’t think IDM existed when I was last there. is it beside where T-Rose is located? An afternoon beer can be annoying in T-Rose as they would not stop trying to play with me dick even though I wasn’t buying them drinks, the hussies.
Good to know you are getting away for the weekend but haven’t you been there before? Nothing wrong with a bit of familiarity but I think you like hiking more than laying in resorts. Have you ever climbed Pinatubo? The first time I did it was arranged by Beeway Travel on Perimeter Road but, once I got the lay of the land, the next time I caught a bus to Saint Juluanna and negotiated the rest of the way to the top. I believe Mt Arayat can be climbed also but I have not climbed it. Have you? Or how about a weekend away in deepest Bataan. You could get a bus to Balanga which is a plesant enough town. Stay the night there and then head to Mareveles for the night and then catch the ferry over to Manila. I know you hate Manila but one night is not going to kill you. The restaurants and bars at the end of the baywalk up by the CCP can be nice for a man and has lady of an afternoon and evening.
Must rush becsuse I am going to protest tonight but I won’t be getting up to any tomfoolery owing to the current state of my undercarriage.

Sorry, John. Me again. I recall you’re foray into the restaurant trade but was Marissa your first love there? The short girl from Alley Cats who used to a regular hasher in days gone by? If so, I aways thought she was the prettiest of all your girlfriends. Just goes to show you they are like all the rest. I mean, that girl from Snack Bar was a stunner but you could tell she thought her shit didn’t smell and was only out for what she could get.

Thanks, John. I find rubbibg a raw onion on helps just as well as Aciclovir once the stinging dies down.
I hope I didn’t cause any offence by misidentifying the gentleman in the middle of yesterday’s photo with Warren. Sorry to read he passed away. I have got say you seemed to have been friendly with lots of people who have passed away over the years at a relatively young age including the lady and her son in Korea and the bargirl that committed suicide. Sad.
Maybe Griff is Really (Hunter S) Thompson in disguise and writes to you after his afternoons nap and sobering up from the morning’s excesses. He writes well. I enjoy it. Very entertaining. It is almost like two blogs in one the way he piggybacks on to you. Great stuff.
Oh, which reminds me: my mate Kellie (he reads your blog too after I told her about it) reminded me it was Ricky not Dickie. Dickie was a crooner in the 50s. Speaking of 50s crooners reminded me of a song from my youth which opened by reminiscing about how ‘our mothers used to sing along to Johnny Ray as he broke a million hearts in mono’. I paraphrase here but the actual originality of that actual lyric was almost as good as Julian Cope’s opening line “Bless my cotton socks . I’m in the news.” Were you ever in the news, John? Did your mother siing along to Jonny Ray? I always felt left out as my mother only ever sang along to Jim Reeves. “Put your sweets lips a little closer to the phone”, de dee de dee…
Back in the present, John: glad that phone nicker got his comeuppance. Being invited into someone’s home and behaving like that. Piece of shit.
I ain’t no homo but you look really well in that photo with Sohee. It is only 8 years ago. So maybe you could get back on track. Perhaps stick that photo to your refrigerator door for inspiration and start eating just one healthy, balanced meal a day between noon and 7pm.
I hope you have good news from Dr Leon tomorrow. I am off for a salt bath now.

I was going to rest up this week and not write on account of my latest herpes flare up but, yes, that is Warren. I didn’t realise he had moved his blog to Fakebook as I don’t bother with that sort of stuff. Maybe Warren died of Covid.
That looks like your long time, regular contributor in the photo between Warren and the lady judging from the photos you have posted of Kevein before. Is that Kevin’s partner?
Griff sounds like he is exemplifying that Great British work ethic HaHa. Do you remember Dickie Valentine there? He ran the Midnight Rambler for a few years. l heard one local say he was Half Man Half Matress as he liked sleeping so much.
Speaking of Griff: Do you remember Griff’s in Calapandyan (nothing to do with your Griff)? What a spot that was of an afternoon. Heavily pegnant ladies working there and all sorts. Then there was the bar next door that ended up getting raided and the owner dying in the clink from what I heard. It opened again under a new name with a new owner but even that was closed down the last time I was there. Is the anything goes bar across the road still open?
I have always admired you having the guts to go around handing out sweets to the kids. If I was to do that here “PEDO” would be sprayed across my front door and a lynch mob on my doorstep. Speaking of Pedos, any news on that character who suddenly disappeared from your Hash House and is wanted in the US for child abuse?
Speaking of undesireibles: do you remember a a year or so back, you had an on-home or a party or some sort of gathering at someone’s house and a random guy there started behaving weirdly and then nicked someone’s purse. Is he still there? Sounds like he needs lynching.
I hope you enjoy rubberboa’s blog. He seems to dive and take a lot of interesting photos of fish when in the Philippines and then spends his time doing lots of long hikes out into the wilderness when back in the US.
Until next time.

It is always good to get some steps and elevation into your walks, John. If you had slipped even just a couple of 2.5lbs vinyl weights into your rucksack you could have done some moderate resistance exercises upon reaching the summit. That would have really helped burn those excess calories.
Did the Beached Whale appeal to Bruce? I ask because on my travels over the years I used to find many of the local asian men enjoyed the company of young white girls and women, many of which you wouldn’t look twice at at home. I member this expecially in the beach resorts of Thailand (Koh Samet in particular for the more mature lady).
Do you swim John there, John? I know the water is not great but don’t let body shaming stop you from getting into your Speedos for a little dip every now and then.
Where is Bruce going next? Did he pass though AC on the way to Barretto? I used to enjoy the Perimeter Road bars but I am told that area is a shadow of its former self. Is it?
Yes, I think we are talking about the same blogger. His blog was called “Warren’s Subic Bay” if I remember correctly. He was black fellow with spectacles and had been in navy (possibly merchant) and had lived in Singapore before arriving in Subic about 15 years ago. I know he had a partner and little daughter there but, like I said previously, he suddenly stopped posting about 10 years ago without any explanation and there is no trace of his blog online anymore. I enjoyed those posts because they were a more nightlife orientated.
Here is the link to the other blogger I was telling you about https://rubberboa.wordpress.com/
I see that gent is back in the US now. He is like me: he seems to spend the winters abroad. I have been doing that since I retired at 52. I like slow travel. I enjoy mapping out a little route which involves me staying in each place a couple of weeks and moving on cause I firmly believe in the old adage about a rolling stone gathering no moss. Have rode the ferries between islands over the years. Even made it down as far as General Santos once.
You said you were going to travel more, John, but I have not really seen much evidence of that in the 6 years of posting from arriving to live in the Philippines full time. Is it because you are anxious about keeping your number of Subic Hash participations high? Either way, looking forward to some reports from other areas once the rainy season has ended at least.
Enjoy your hash tomorrow and good luck with Dr Leon on Wednesday.

I hope you can put my information to good use, Doing some upper-body strength exercises will also up your metabolic rate which, when combined with aerobic activity that leaves you feeling out of breath, will pay dividends in the form of you continuing to burn more calories throughout the rest of your day, even after you finish exercising, than otherwise, which will hopefully contribute to you drinking SMLs will beyond 84. Plus, avoiding meat, rice, potatoes and beans will help take the pressure of them kidneys.
I can’t offer any advice on diabetes. I am not afflicted and although I can’t be arsed looking up what the precise definition of endemic is, The WHO (not the boys who have learnt their lesson and Won’t Get Fooled Again) claim around one in 10 have chronic hepatitis B in dem der Philippine Islands from what I have read. So best be careful. Warn Bruce too. We don’t want him going home and turning yellow four months later. What would he tell the wife then?
I am pleased Bruce was true to his word and turned up. If I ever get the inclination to go back there, I would love to walk up to The Three Crosses with you and your bredren but, judging from the photos you posted of them SOB girls previously, I don’t think that will be any time soon.
The way you fpresented Bruce in today’s blog reminded me of Harry The Horse’s Tourist of the Month features. I hear Jim is still going but not strong. I stepped up to the oche in his stable many time. Nice bloke.
I used to really look forward to Harry/Jim’s monthly newsletters. Speaking of which, do you know Warren Carter there? I used to enjoy his monthly blogs until he stopped doing them abruptly (and with without any explanation as to why) about 10 years ago. Is he well? I never met the man but once spied him playing pool in a bar there but didn’t want to interupt his play to tell him I was a reader.
I know Warren posted a few nightlife videos on YouTube but I’m not a fan of the vloggers. I much prefer reading the likes of blogs and newsletters like yours but, sadly, you are one of the last holding the fort. Most of them bloggers don’t probably have a pot to piss in and are more interested in what I can only imagine are meagre financial returns judging by video viewing numbers.
The only other one I know of now of in the Philippines is rubberroa.wordpress. I once met him in Score Bar about 10 years ago when he was in Subic diving. He was one of your countrymen but a nice bloke too, like Jim, with interesting stories to tell. He is even older than us (about 74, I think) however, like you, he seems to be loved up in Puerto Galera these days and he still regularly updates his blog which I still tune into from time to time.
I’m off to Wetherspoons now for a few pints of San Miguel. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I trust Dr Leon gave you good news.
The doctors are busting my balls about kidney function too. My eGFR using cretanine is currently 74 and seems to be going down after each reading. What is yours?
My liver has not been the same since I caught acute Hep B in 2014. I initially presented with AST of 251 but the ALT was a whopping 3509 and Bilirubin was 339. Managed to clear it though like most oldies do and now have got the antigen naturally. But please be careful as I understand Hep B is endemic in the PI. Babies catch it from their infected mothers in the womb but the young don’t tend to shake it off like oldies and then become chronic carriers for the rest of their lives like their mothers and grandmothers and so on. Maybe that is why so many people die younger there.
The rub for me is that I was proactive and paid to get vaccinated against Hep B a couple of years before but still contracted Hep B. Apparently there is still a 5% chance of not acquiring immunity even after all 3 jabs. So be careful.
Do you rubber up? i ask because you can’t be too careful as even if you and your partner get tested, tests are only as good for up to the last test and even then the antibodies might not be manifesting if infections are newly acquired and still incubating.
Thankfully, I got no issues in the weight department even though my BMI is marginally over (25.7) but my waist is less than half my height so they say I am in the clear on that front.
I put my weight control down to regular HITT exercises, fasting and cutting down drastically on cakes and biscuits (but not Staropramen and San Miguel which is now even stronger than Stella here).
I think Kevin Kim once advised you about HIIT but I would further recommend including some weight training at least 2 – 3 times per week. I’m not suggesting bodybuilding just 3 sets of 12 reps of medium weights. You don’t need to go the sweat gym beside the Bela Monte; just have a few weights at home. I think that is sufficient for oldies like us.
What is your cholesterol like? Mine is 5.9 and they want to put me on statins (especially since I got DVT in my right calf two years ago) but I am resisting because as my mother used to say: “they’re giving you something for one thing which is ruining some other thing”. She was a good Scots Presbytarian (unlike me) and died at 74 in the same year as your mom despite never letting alcohol pass her lips nor smoking tobacco, crack or pot.
Enjoy your SOB.

I found your blog during lockdown and have been an almost daily visitor since.
I visited Subic regular between the early noughties and 2018 but I have not been back as was finding the entertainment value had gone a long way down hill from the earlier days. You seem to relish living there so I am pleased for you.
I like a regular drink myself (but I’m an amateur compared to Thompson HaHa) and enjoy three or 4 pints a day – 6 – 8 at weekends. I am pushing 70 ike yourself but recently the doctor has been rasing concerns about my liver function; in particular my ALT and bilirubin readings. I read you had your bloods done recently so would be interested in knowing what your readings are in these areas. Like yourself, I stay off the spirits and exercise daily.
Also, how is the weight loss going?

i know you scoff at the idea, but isn’t it safer ( at least on paper, with regards to not only STD due to testing ,but getting some recourse in case of theft and/or dissatisfaction) to just stick your pecker from the reputable bars? Maybe the barfine rather rubs you the wrong way, but a random stranger off Facebook just getting accepted to visit your home seems a bit unsafe, and could turn out to be expensive if an unscrupulous individual turns up with a cousin or later tries the classic r*pe shakedown.
i do hope you find an actual lovely girl to stay by your side….well, she doesn’t have to be lovely but just somebody who will not only tolerate your frequent girlie bar visits but will have some patience to stay home while you enjoy the night out. At this stage, a woman who loves hiking and drinking with you in girlie bars while suppressing the jealous trait might be hard to find, especially when she doesn’t understand enough English to get all your jokes( which you really consider crucial at this juncture in your life). As Kevin would say… wrong place to be looking for a well-educated lady who will share your hobbies and hold her own ambitions in life , at least in that small town where your antics are well-known. It is rather hard to be anonymous when you’re almost single-handedly keeping the ailing economy of the Barrio ,in addition to a sort of biographer/reporter of the town’s activities
Anyway
I’m sure you’ll not be too worried….but it wouldn’t hurt to be more careful and circumspect in these things.» Posted By Ted On 19/December/2022 @ 12:20 am
Far from feeling sorry for yourself, you should be proud 👏
not only did you have an outdoor fun date with a beautiful girl in the afternoon, but you also took her out for lunch afterwards. She spent the day with you, doing what you love. If I recall correctly, you’ve been known to lament the absence of a woman in your life who shares your hobbies and proclivities.
But of course, your other hobby is drinking 🍸 and for that you had a date with 2 separate girls . You bought them meals, ogled them and entertained them with your famous jokes. They too, share your proclivities. They like eating and drinking 🍸 with you.
For good or bad, these are your weekly dates. There may be a shortage of romance, except for when one or more of these ladies visit your house from time to time, but make no mistake , these do count as dates. The man pays, the woman eats and drinks 🍸 and she does or doesn’t put out. I’m sure you make some time to lament the lack of intimacy even after spending quite some change wining and dining these ladies . But we both know that financially you’ve done very well for yourself, and the first world -third world dichotomy makes it that you’re much wealthier anyway.
Now, this recent woman that you’re failing to court knows all these facts. No filipina would allow herself to lose face like that, by presumably being a steady lover to someone who’s quite literally having 3 dates on average day. She’d have to be on the desperate side to allow insert herself into such a mess. Of course you’d promise to pause all these activities should she agree to go steady with you, but from the outside looking in, people will quite literally pity her for debasing herself. You see, you don’t announce when your friends with benefits program is on pause, and you don’t ever really stop going to bars even when you’re shackled to a girlfriend, so the people 🤷 who barely know you will pity your girlfriend who seems to have no idea. Even if she does know about these activities, they’d wonder why she would involve herself in such a messy situation.
In a way, you know all of this and it serves your purpose very well, because by being so intertwined with so many people around town, you avoid the actual romantic entanglement with one actual real girlfriend. This way, you get to have your cake and eat it….or rather , ogle a young woman shoving your cake into her mouth.
Your frequent lamentations about wanting or needing a constant woman who shares your proclivities are just wishful thinking, because your proclivities by nature require that you spend time with your favorite bargirls around town , but still hold yourself above the so-called bar monger because you give generously and according to their needs, and therefore avoid the naked transaction that others call the barfine. Besides , you live there so you get repeat visits from your favorites, so you’re more of a connoisseur, or friend , or benefactor…..or whatever label you’d prefer , other than John.
All the foregoing is clearly only gleaned from your writing here. You’re more than your blog , and you should reserve your right to define who you are. More importantly, you should be proud and accepting of who you are, what you do and how you do it. Others may not understand or accept or even like who you are and what you do and how you do it. The woman who joined may be amongst the former, and you can appreciate how that might make a deeper romantic interlude tricky. But you’ve got money in your pocket, and that may be deep enough.
As for the rest of the others, those with whom you desire no interludes of any kind, their chatter should not be of any consequence to you. and yes, that includes this lengthy prattle.
As you were

Good to see that you’ve enjoyed your trip
who’s Denny?
Seems like this trip is just about spending time with him and following him around. He’s a great tour guide. The city is definitely heaps better than your small town. It’s cleaner , and I imagine the air is fresh. Though you seem to be spending time in the better parts of the city, and I imagine there are areas that would match your beloved Barrio in grit.
You’re right ✅️ The trip was too short.
for the amount of money you’ve spent on the trip, your friend Dave back home will be disappointed if you don’t write a bit more about cialis. You’ve latched on to the woman that Kevin calls hairy arms. The internet can be a cruel place 😢
but anyway, looks like you’ve exported your bargirl relations issues to Cambodia 🇰🇭 , already apologizing for not tipping enough? You really are the best customer a bargirl could ever dream of. You give generously whether the service is good or mediocre. They really enjoy your company. So, what’s the verdict?
Could you see yourself living there? You dealt with the language barrier just fine when you lived in Korea 🇰🇷 And the city you’re in has walking paths that you probably haven’t seen yet?
Dunno about hashers ,or darts ,or your favorite American pies.
Though there wouldn’t be much to do since you’re just there for a short time.By this time, your friends back home must be missing you.
At least your visa restarts when you arrive in Manila, so you don’t have to worry for the next few years

Oh dear. This has turned out to be a bit of an introspective tearjerker splash zone.
At least we are all thinkingBack to the fun times of the Barrio.
I meant to ask about other subdivisions besides your own. I know you’re not a big fan of initiating conversations with other male members of the species;but I have come to realize the power of this comment section to nudge you in certain directions.while you’re working on some form of bar hopping map – which you’ll get to to in due time; may I impose a little bit?
I want to know about how the other rich folks in town live. There is a place called Buenaventura, and though it’s not as grand as your Alta Vista, it must house some men of your age and tax bracket. Would you happen to know any? How high the rent goes, how nice it is, how wonderful the neighbors are and so on
Other than the mountain families, I am sure those are the only people with good views on this side of the main road , or the bay…I am not sure of directions
Also, I have always wondered if bar owners lived in huge mansions like yourself; or if they preferred to have an upstairs penthouse apartment on the premises of their establishment in order to keep an eye on things.
Dave is a tycoon so clearly he must live in a huge apartment in the city center, and the Aussie Thumbstar fella must probably stick around close by

let me add my voice to support the bar crawl and map businesses.
it would be great 👍not that you care that much, but that may bring actual tourists into your town , and even more readers for your blog who may find useful information 😀
not to send our beloved small-town newspaper reporter into danger or anything, but where are purely Filipino bars on your list?
we both share a loathing for loud off-key karaoke singing, but surely there’s a few bars that are mostly frequented by Filipino men and women that you haven’t ventured into even though they’re part of the Barretto scene ?with a hefty bodyguard to watch your back, I believe you could make some time to check out a few of those.
thanks to Kevin for offering to create a bar crawl map.
with a title like the best of Barretto bar crawl or something better for clickbait, you’ll achieve your dream of superstardom. get ready to sign autographs every where you go

Wow
So I’m commenting on a comment commentary now.
My 15 minutes of fame starts now.But you’re like the celebrity. We read about you and sometimes we think we know you, which is of course not true. Just like any celebrity you’ll have fans and super-fans . Some of them may even be crazy fans. Did I read somewhere that some people have accosted you in the local bars and accused you of ruining it all for them? But that’s counterbalanced by tourists who use your blog as a guide for the nightlife and entertainment in your area ,or just for informational purposes.
Would you say the ratio is on the positive side whenever you interact with rabid fans ? Or casual readers for that matter.Just be glad that most of the characters ….I mean people, you write about don’t read the blog that much , or at least don’t feel the need to comment about what you’ve written about them too much. Those would be the real people impacted and affected by your writing ✍️ as they’re the characters in the stories. Would you say your writing skills, the level of English you use here would be beyond the enjoyment of some of your local friends whose mother tongue is not English ? Other than the bone-dry dad jokes , I would think the blog is at an accessible pace for even middle-school educated people in your neighborhood. Or perhaps people don’t really like to read about things that they know about , or events they participated in with people they know at places they visit frequently. Others may demure at reading an account of their activities, especially if such activities are so mundane to not warrant a report afterwards.
Or maybe people just don’t read that much these days. I can’t imagine Lydell working a full shift and going home to read an account of her antics from the night before. Or even Joy sitting at work and perusing your site to see pictures of herself stuffing her face. That would take the fun out of it. To be fair, I don’t think even celebrities enjoy reading about themselves all that much, especially accounts of their mundane daily lives. And yet you keep writing. That alone still impresses me.
200 daily readers is quite a feat. Seeing as there are only a handful of regular commenters and another handful of once-in-a-blue moon new commentators, I would have expected that your readership was much smaller. Or rather, I would have thought that 200 would be the highest daily readership here, as most people usually stumble upon a blog and read up the few stories for a few days before they move on. Unlike me, I had to read a few to trace the arc of the few main characters and try to remember the names.
Suppose the readers who visit for information about your town end up staying longer as they’re entertained by your writing ✍️ Out of interest, are you able to discern where your readership hails from ? I would guess the majority would be from the 3 countries that you have at one point called home 🏡 and your diehard fans like family and former work friends.
Congratulations are in order. 200 is virtually a circulation of a small town newspaper 📰 back when people still read the papers. And being the sole reporter, editor and staff writer must be quite challenging for you. Especially since you don’t particularly go out of your way to seek new adventures to write about. Other than your recent interviews with the lady that the world agreed was exotic, I haven’t seen you chase a story and follow up on a promising lead. And yet you are more prolific than a veritable newshound at a mid-size publication with advertisers baying for more sensational stories to justify their expenditures.Speaking of advertisers, shouldn’t you be making money this blog? I don’t know how the internet money-making schemes work, but I’m sure there’s a bitcoin NFT paywall crypo that could be paying you top dollar for the steady writing you churn out on a daily basis. I jest , of course. You’re comfortable and you wouldn’t need the extra coins in any case.
Initially I had thought that there was a registration process for readers to comment , seeing as only the hallowed few readers often comment . Maybe I’m different, but I usually go straight to the comment section with everything I read. As you can imagine, this is a rather dangerous path to go on with YouTube comments or any of the social media sites in general. The ability to comment on anything has led people, yours truly included, to think that their opinions are not only valid and important, but that they’re experts on virtually any subject under the sun. The more information that is freely available on the internet, the less knowledge and understanding of any one particular subject that people have. This is just my drunk uncle’s ramblings, multiplied by 5 billion people and all at the same time. That’s a family gathering that you’d rather not attend.
It’s understandable that most of your readers will come for the main body of your encounters, especially when you provide colorful photographs with the aforementioned dad jokes. Also, is this blog somehow connected to another one written by the poster Kevin? I presume the 2 of you share co- writing duties or at least both enjoy the art of writing so much that his blog is the first thing you read in the morning, and yours his. I lack the requisite brain cells to comprehend much of his writing , but some day I’ll work up the courage.
In any case , do enjoy the weekend festivities. I look forward to reading about the antics of all the characters of your city , and especially the weekend guests who surely bring their own charm. Drink responsibly and stay safe 🙏
Thanks for the reply.

«« Back To Stats PageThat Lydell seems like a handful 😳 of fun.
What’s her deal? I’m sure you’ve already asked her out and been let down easily, but boy does she have some excitement for you 🤔
Is the snack bar a kind of place where you need to buy lady drinks 🍸 so that would explain her enthusiasm for her best customers 🤔 But then again, with only 2 or 3 girls they wouldn’t be able to entertain all their guests. You mentioned that the owner runs 2 businesses in the same town with the staff alternating between the establishments ,what’s the difference 🙄
Also, does Lydell have a tattoo on her back that says ” property of gwapo = handsome man John ” ? I’m speculating that you encouraged her , judging by that tight embrace that elicited a rare smile from the author who may be usually too shy to show his teeth in pictures. It is good to see you happy 😊….more like content and not worried about how your lame dad jokes will land or whether the other patrons are enjoying your music. I do declare, this was one of your best days ….normal and fulfilling. I guess that happens when you meet someone new and you can listen as much as you talk, and participate in a great conversation that meanders and ebbs in a natural flow even as you walk the stranger via familiar path. Somebody once said that , a man is at his most confident when he knows what he is doing and knows that he can do it well, without much thought and agenda.Your readers are starting to get used to your routines now. The bi-weekly Hideaway visit with Joy , and the reverse conjugal visitation to your mountain retreat, then the daily hikes with the hash brothers. Then there are the solo hikes you do, then the shopping excursions, and then the irregular dart games .
Were you this deliberately organized during your working days? I have never seen someone so actively engaged in so many routines in retirement, with so few companions or clubs.
Other than walking and drinking 🍸, it occurs to me that you’re not a member of many clubs , activities, teams or associations. And yet, you’re more active than most seniors all over the world.
You must have a very strong impetus and drive to get out of bed each morning and do so many things, usually by yourself and still keep things interesting. BravoEven the time you take to write here is one of the marvels of the world. You probably know the statistics already: most people who start a blog give up after a year. Which makes it all the more amazing because as far as I can tell, you don’t even have a particular target in mind when you write , no particular audience that you would like to communicate with via the blog. Nor does it seek like you’re recording these events in your life for posterity, or making notes for a book, or seeking fame and fortune, or passing the time because you’re bored .
You write because you want to. And every day you write ✍️
I would like to see 👀 some of your self-driven impetus that moves you to continue this. This is the kind of drive that makes for successful people: CEO, Executives, Presidents , and survival experts who get stranded on abandoned islands.
The kind of self-sufficiency that lead people to survive the harshest conditions, people who outlive death row and survive cults or gang warfare. 🤔Now I’m wondering which one you are… and realizing that you’re on a completely different level .
In case this note is not long enough.
What’s up with the music videos you add at the end of each post? Are you a lyricist who can put any thoughts of yours to music 🎶? Or do you listen to so much music that you can find a song for every event and day? Wait …that means you actually know the words to the songs 🎵 I just realized that.
While us mere mortals just hum and mumble through an Elvis song, you probably know every word. Not only do you seem to know every word, but you seem to be able to connect to each lyric on a deeper level….or at least know what the words mean. Amirite ?
Perhaps you were a singer-songwriter in a previous life. Actually, that would explain a lot» Posted By Ted On 18/August/2022 @ 6:49 pm
