That pretty much sums up yesterday’s Hash trail. Leech My Nuggets was the Hare and he did not disappoint, providing a challenging and well-marked path for his fellow Hashers to follow. In an unusual twist, Leech did the hike with the Hash group despite having done the Hare duties earlier in the day. Well played!
Some photos from the adventure:
I’ll be one of the Hare’s next week.

“Cookie recipients. I was very surprised to see the kid on the right wearing a Corona Hash (from Angeles City) shirt. How it came to him out here in the backwoods of Subic is a mystery.”
And then there’s the kid in the middle, grabbing his crotch.
That last hash looked like a tough one. In a way, the Philippines reminds me of the way Korea looked in the 80’s, especially up near the DMZ. Back then there were a lot of dirt roads and very few cars up north. People still lived in houses made of dried mud and sticks, with thatched roofs. When my battalion did the DMZ patrols, Sept to Dec 1987, we road marched from Camp Hovey to Warrior Base and saw maybe 2 or 3 cars a day once we got north of Dongduchon. By the time I went back in the 90’s, those days were long gone. I am trying to get my wife interested in stopping by the Philippines on the way back from Korea the next time we go there.
Kev, haha, I hadn’t noticed the little crotch grabber.
Chip, thanks for the comment and the stroll down memory lane. I wish I could have experienced that version of Korea. By the time I arrived (2005) it was all pretty much modernized. I did enjoy some hiking on the mountains in Seoul and around Pyeongtaek.
There are some beautiful places to see here in the PI. It would definitely be a different experience than Korea for you and your wife. Good luck!
Man, I hope that toilet plunger Leech My Nuggets is drinking from is not actively used at the Hunters Jo Inn. That would be shitty! The cookie kid grabbing his crotch is a future PI Rapper! I find that chick in the black top and brown pants with the caption, “I’m coming, I’m coming” very sexy. I see she makes all of the Hash walks. Hunters Jo Inn is for sale or lease?
How much? Peace Out!
Hey Soju, no it is the Hash plunger so it hasn’t seen too many toilets. I think.
Yeah, that sexy girl works for me as a part-time domestic helper. She lives in my basement maid’s quarters. Her Hash name is Cum In My Basement. Yeah, she has a hot bod by I’m an old HR guy and know better than to boink the hired help.
Not sure what the asking price of Hunter Jo might be, never considered it. Want me to ask?
No need to go through the trouble of asking, John. Just curious as to what a bar purchase would cost in the P.I. I had a chance to buy a little bar in Anjung-Ri back in 86. Guy was asking 10K. Considering how The Hump has become the biggest overseas military installation in the world, I have some regrets. Peace Out!
Well, Hunter Jo is more of a hotel than a bar, and it’s in really bad condition. It’s also located too far from the expat community to be an option for most. I’ve toyed with the idea of a bar in Barretto, but the reality is always bigger than the dream. Don’t need the headaches and hassles associated with ownership.
