It’s nice to be getting back into the swing of things here in Barretto after a couple of days away. Here’s how things went down yesterday after returning from Pundaquit.
Kicked it off with a visit to Dr. Jo for my weekly Ozempic injection. Her hubby, Chris, was there as well, and it was good to see him again. Chris has opened a brewery on Siargao Island, and he says it is going well thus far. I do believe I’m going to schedule our July “get out of town” trip to pay a visit on his side of the island. Anyway, the weekly weigh-in indicates I’ve lost a couple more pounds, and I’m down to 242.7. Still a LONG way to go to reach my under 200 pounds goal.
Since I was already on that side of town, I stopped by the poolside bar at Outback and waited for Swan to meet me there.

Next stop, Mango’s for dinner.

After our meal, we crossed the highway and popped into Gold Bar.

Then we moved on to our nightcap venue:

Getting away for a bit makes the home turf all the sweeter.
We’ve entered January 2020 in the LTG archives. I was halfway through the month before I found a post worthy of inclusion in “the story of my life.” Well, a visit to Sampoloc Cove is always a pleasant experience, but this time things got a little insane.
For today’s YouTube video, I did a little time-travel back to 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue. I spent ten minutes of my life there, but found it interesting enough that I didn’t regret the voyage. YMMV.
Here’s what comes next:

And there you have it. Until next time.
So, are any of the characters from the 2020 post still around and hashing? LOL
Brian, no, those crazies involved have left the Hash scene, thankfully. The boyfriend of the instigator “killed himself” a year or so later, although suicide by multiple stab wounds is a pretty rare occurrence.
