So, what did the harbor master say when a bad joke pulled into port? Pundaquit! They don’t get any worse than that, do they! Anyway, today is Swan’s birthday, and I’m gifting her with a couple of days on the beach in Pundaquit. Pulling out in about an hour, so let’s see if I can get this post over and done with.
So, about yesterday’s Hash. I shortcutted, but the part I skipped was the first 2K of a flat, boring street walk. The Hares (Leech My Nuggets and Anal Receptive) had a trail going through the hills that I’ve enjoyed in the past but hadn’t traversed in a long, long time. So, that’s the 4K I did, with Swan by my side, of course. We took a trike to where we started, and began hiking at 1:30 (the Hash begins at 2:00), adding even more to our head start. We both enjoyed the scenery, and after a moderately difficult climb in the beginning, we just meandered up and down until we reached the end of our journey. Here are some photos from along the way:

Anyway, I enjoyed the hilly adventure, even with the ups and downs.
Here’s a Facebook memory from 8 years ago:

It’s now December 2019 in my journey through the LTG archives. In this post, I celebrate my relationship with a 15-year-old. That would be a blog called Long Time Gone. What did you think I meant?
For today’s YouTube video, I’ll share another disaster story about a guy who elected to marry a bar girl. They ain’t all bad, but there is truth to the saying, “you can take a girl out of the bar, but you can’t take the bar out of the girl.”
And now for the humor:

Woo-hoo! I got this post done before my departure time. Now I’ll pack up the laptop and get ready to hit the road. I’ll update you tomorrow from San Antonio!
