Economic weaklings

TJ … I am German… with all my ramblings and attempt at humour your old smug self missed it.

» Posted By EuroYank On 21/April/2005 @ 3:44 am

Europe does not need the USA … we have the French and French women.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 8:17 pm

and Ashley 😆 you are charming and wise, thanks for acknowledging my charm and wisdom.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 3:58 pm

TJ- Europe is in the process of attempting to unite that is the priority. And France has enough hairdressers to ward off any attempted American tourist Invasion. Germany has enough strudel and wiener schnitzel to pay for American protection against a possible UFO assault from Mars, and Italy and the rest of Europe has enough pizza and big macs to be pro-American in the cheering section, and as for the rest of your remarks, the Neo-Conservatives or NeoCons are the major threat to American Democracy for as the saying goes, if you lose your freedom and liberty to defend against losing it, you have neither.

Jonathan – also please take note of the aforementioned link which will enhance your education and knowledge of “foreign affairs” ….

TJ- yes France is the exception. In France UNEMPLOYMENT is considered WORKING, but for your education I submit the following info http://english.pravda.ru/main/2002/03/06/26824.html

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 7:17 am

and TJ stop writing such long commentaries without supporting information and GET A JOB.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 6:48 am

Jonathan- since TJ is a fellow neocon of yours, I am happy you have at least one ally. and …

Mr. TJ if you can read … in Europe ALL THOSE THAT ARE NOT COUNTED IN THE USA are counted in Europe.

Bah Humbug

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 6:46 am

Also, I do not think FEDERAL EMPLOYEES are counted as EMPLOYED, since they DO NOT PRODUCE ANYTHING.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 1:18 am

In the USA after you use up six months of unemployed you no longer exist. Also the afore-mentioned and students etc are not counted at all. That is why the USA has only 5.5% unemployed not 15%. Just because Americans are good at COOKING THE BOOKS does not mean that you can cook or eat, or HAVE A LIFE. again…. BAH HUMBUG.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 1:17 am

Just because every American has 2.5 or 3.5 cars, and 2.5 or 3.5 garages and no or crumbling public transportation and minimal infrastructure, and because the USA only counts those unemployed that are insured and have are less than six months on the rolls, does not mean that the part-timers, or underemployed, or self-employed are counted in the unemployment rolls.
Again Jonathan, its QUALITY OF LIFE not the BULL you have that only gives you the BULL in life.

» Posted By EuroYank On 20/April/2005 @ 1:13 am

John – Bah Humbug. As usual you miss the point and exaggerate. Its QUALITY OF LIFE not the quantity of cars or quantities of BULL you have that is in your life. BAH HUMBUG Jonathan…. more B.S. PROPAGANDA.

John here is an excellent link “Americans in Germany” for you to consider the error of your ways and getting a little education (usually not available working for the Federal Government)… http://www.andere-seite.de/amisagainstwar/opposebushappeal.htm and I actually met an American over here that was civilized and could eat with a fork and a knife at the same time. There is hope.

» Posted By EuroYank On 19/April/2005 @ 7:38 am

John could you repeat that again please? I did not get it.

» Posted By EuroYank On 19/April/2005 @ 7:29 am

The long goodbye

John you may have the last word …

» Posted By EuroYank On 18/April/2005 @ 11:40 pm

and a sad thing is that Americans think they are completely healthy despite; the widening gap between rich and poor, American declining wages for 35 years, and bragging that only Federal Employees are the only ones left with grand benfits like pensions that are not ripped off or excellent health care, or unions and arbitration, or the dwindling American middle class, or the debt ridden American consumer, or 20% credit card rates (Europe 3-9%) is not the perfect model.

» Posted By EuroYank On 18/April/2005 @ 11:40 pm

When the American population becomes majority hispanic & black will that make them any less American? And just because Americans don’t take care of their poor and don’t provide universal health insurance, does that make the USA any more humanistic. Not everybody can become a Federal Employee, and be brainwashed.

I don’t own a Volvo….

oops forgot the ? … sorry

» Posted By EuroYank On 13/April/2005 @ 10:53 pm

John – Is it time for that “Dear John” letter yet.

» Posted By EuroYank On 13/April/2005 @ 10:51 pm

50 Years

Wow that is what I call a “Lifer” and you both also have the red tie in common. John in the lead article you quoted “in recognition of FIFTY years service “TO” the United States, but the certificate says in recognition of FIFTY years service “IN” the United States. Wonder what the difference is.

Hypocrisy of the Left: A worldwide phenomenon?

Its a testimony to German Democracy: not two political parties like in the USA but a dozen. Also both the right and the left; many of whom have known nothing but Stalinist dictatorship for 50 years in eastern Germany are just coming out of their holes to express themselves. Democracy to be cheered not jeered. It will all iron itself out in the wash.

I’m a star…

This proves that in hard times a soldier must bite the bullet, while the bureaucrat bites the pen.

» Posted By EuroYank On 15/April/2005 @ 7:45 am

Just in case there was any doubt…

John this is proof that you should not dilute your drinks. Drinking mixed drinks instead of hard alcohol causes too many tiny bubbles which fogs the memory.

Rainy day blues….

Carol- Most of my wives were Southern Belles. I understand so well. One of the reasons I fled to Europe. But they do know how to cook Southern Fried Chicken. Come to think about it, my last Southern wife called me SIR.

» Posted By EuroYank On 12/April/2005 @ 12:55 am

Incorrigible I understand, but the Sir part sounds so impersonal

» Posted By EuroYank On 11/April/2005 @ 4:14 pm

John the golden rule is first get the hooker at the bar, then play pool, then get drunk, then pass out at home on the floor. Barfing and passing out in the toilet area goes against the Golden Rule. But then you are a Federal Employee, not a professional American Soldier. 😀
Carol I did correct my misspellings, and thanks, but I am a civilian and don’t take orders, but I just love it when you get RILED UP.
