Blast from the Past–In the beginning

John, all I can say is that the ssecond picture brought back a memory of you walking into a door. That is an evening that I will never forget. I never want to have to put my finger in your mouth again. hahahaha

Stuck, poked, prodded and probed

so many comments that can be made – but I am actually going to refrain. But the one with the mouthpiece holding your mouth open, as your laying on your side. Definitely will scar me for life

» Posted By Duke On 04/February/2010 @ 12:46 am

Pounded

Next week will be the tale of the two mighty ex-SIDL players playing against each other. Dave’s team comes to my house for an ass-whipping. the beer will flow and my darts will thunder and lightning will rain down on them. Of course Dave’s darts only thunder louder because they are 30grams heavier.

Same Leage (yup). I think we are even going to play against each other. I just started a new tuesday night team with a 4 left-over not team players and won our first game. Then I play in the same division as Dave on wednseday. Maybe next season Dave will step up and start a Rubbies team and let me play!!!! LOL.

As the dart flies…

I don’t want to know anything about your “Big Dart”!!!

» Posted By Duke On 31/December/2009 @ 11:42 pm

See John you stepping has actaully got me and Petro to agree on something. This is a momentous occasion. Already you are perfoming as a presidential figure.

» Posted By Duke On 08/December/2009 @ 1:04 am

About time you stepped up.

» Posted By Duke On 07/December/2009 @ 11:09 pm

Heresy

John,

I thought you left country for a better job offer with the Government? I could be wrong. Maybe all those warrants were catching up to you? HAHA

Pathetic

Lauren and Kevin,

I think you both would love a visit to Korea. John has a way of showing people around.

As for the blog, I also agree with you. I am more interested in reading about John’s great exploits and news of what is going on in my second home.

Kevin, if you are kicking John’s ass in darts then more power to you. Remember though that he is older and more fragile. You need to take it easy on him sometimes. That is what I did the last time I played him.

John, you need to send Jiyoung an email also to congratulating her on finally adding a new addition to the family in May 2010.

Beautiful places, smiling faces

Greetings also from VA John. To bad you were not closer, you missed a small reunion saturday night. Dave, Tom and Michelle came over and we played in a tournament together and drank alot of beer. Was “almost” like the old times.

Cash for Codgers and Life’s a Bitch

Fortuneate, I agree that name would be to gay even for a gay guy but for a woman of intelligence and wit; fits just right.

Dennis –

I apologize for confusing you and throwing your prattling responses for a loop. I also know that since this is John’s Blog and that he enjoys any and all comments; that is what I did.

» Posted By Duke On 26/August/2009 @ 10:13 pm

Fortuneate – I know it is early since mine is the 26th and his was the next day. Use to celebrate it together in a very long 2 days of partying. Just wanted to make sure that he saw it prior to his birthday. Sometimes John I think forgets his Blog is being read. (Alzheimers). LOL

“Our Father, who art in Washington…”

Frank,

Points are easy in cricket…

you know you ahve the numbers 20-15 that you need to close. Close means to hit 3 darts. There is the triple zone, double zone and a single zone. If one dart hits the triple sone then that number is closed and you can move on if you want to the next number. If your adversary does not have that number closed then you can also throw for points. Example: First dart hits the triple 20 (closed now) and your next dart hits the single zone and the third dart hits the double zone – this equals a closed number and 60 points (1 sinlge 20 and one double 20). If your opponent already has the number closed then the triple 20 would be the only dart needed and then just move on to the next number. Now besides the 20-15 numbers you also have bullseyes – (single and a double zone). You can also point in this zone after you hit three and your opponent has not closed it yet. The winner is whoever has all numbers closed (20-15 and bullseyes) and the highest points total. Hope this helps a little…

Here we go again!

Frank –

SInce you gave a great post here and even went back into those dark and mysterious archives, I have to say good job. I was the one that mentioned “John in one of his moods”. I am alos glad that he finally pulled his head out and started blogging again. He seems to think that most of the time he is blogging about nothing but there are some of us here I am sure enjoy reading them. Darts are not as complicated as it seems – Hell if John can be taught then anyone can be. Trust me on that since I began the long road on instructing him and then had him whip my ass the last time I saw him. It made me proud to see my son grow up to be a man. hahaha.

Keep up the great work John.

Totally agree. To me this place started up with crap service and has continued that time honored tradition of crap service.
