I admire your fleet-footed nature. For me, rain is cause for fear whenever I hit a mountain trail: everything gets muddy and slippery. Or are you wearing especially sharp golf cleats on your shoes to prevent slippage?
The dawgs look immensely happy. I’m mentally contrasting that with those sad-sack images of Lucky before he became your dog.
Nope, just wearing my regular Merrill hiking shoes. But yes, muddy and wet makes things infinitely more difficult. The rain held off yesterday…until we got to the top of the mountain. Then a downpour. The slippery was enhanced by the fact that my glasses were so wet I could barely see. Fun times!
