Or as the locals call it, LBM. I assume that’s liquid bowel movement which is an apt description for what ails me. I’ll just have to be patient I suppose while it “runs” its course. Ahem.
Anyway, it made for an early Friday night. I was able to enjoy the Son’s of Baccus (SOB) dance contest however before exiting for the comfort of my home based toilet.
My photography skills were not up to par, but here’s a taste of the competition:
Tonight I’ll play in a darts tournament. And I *might* have a lead on a sweet house in Alta Vista subdivision.
Onward!
Good luck with housing in High View.
As for Magellan’s Revenge: bottled water!
And please wash your fresh veggies thoroughly before you prep them: they’ve been repeatedly sprayed by a hose attached to a source that pumps potentially untrustworthy water. This goes double for salad veggies, which can contain all manner of unsavory critters from salmonella to fecal bacteria to God-knows-what.
Yeah, I only drink bottled water. But my guess is that brushing my teeth with tap water might be the source of my current discomfort.
Oddly enough, on my first few visits to the PI I would invariably suffer from LBM. But not so for the last couple of years. I had assumed my body had acclimated to Filipino bacteria. Apparently not.
Haven’t prepared any fresh veggies at home yet and based on your vivid description I may never eat a salad again!
“…fecal bacteria to God-knows-what.” Best not to think what is worse than the first.
