Can you give me a blowjob please?

Ahem.

Now, I’m pretty much a beer drinker.  On those occasions when a shot is called for (someone rings the bell or otherwise buys a round) I’m faced with a dilemma.  Jack Daniels is no friend of mine, and tequila kicks my ass.  So, I usually get a shot that is one part Bailey’s and one part Kahlua.  A tad sweet, but with a beer chaser not bad.  The drink is popularly known as a “blow job”.  I don’t know why.

So anyway, given that all men are basically adolescents at heart, when ordering the above referenced shot, I will invariably ask the female bartender to give me a blowjob.  Yeah, puns and double entendres are always such a hoot.  I know, I know, it’s beyond stupid and borderline (?) offensive.

Still, have you seen the new Burger King ad apparently making the rounds in the USA?

Seven inches?  Not much of a meal.

Anyway, I don’t know if this ad vindicates me or implicates me.  But the ad doesn’t make me want to rush out to BK to get my mind “blown”.

Oh by the way, we do have BK in Korea, both on the economy and on base.  Haven’t seen this ad (or the sandwich) here though.

I am anticipating some interesting Google referrals based on the title of this post.  I expect such visitors will be sorely disappointed.  I guess they’ll say what many readers say after visiting LTG: “That sucks”.

There, I have closed the loop.

  1. I can tell you, John, I don’t doubt that the 7-incher ad is making the rounds here in the States but it hasn’t made it to here yet, SE Florida or Tampa area. Go figure on that too, cause BK HQ is in Miami.

In any case, it’s a fun post. And thanks for the tutorial on the BJ shot. I, too, find myself in a dilemma when the bell rings or shots are ordered. Used to go to a bar in Texas where on a given evening the bar crowd would order shots for the bar half a dozen times a night, seemed, so I tried to avoid my belly on the bar if I could, mostly, to avoid the issue. They always ordered a pretty good 151 proof rum and the one time I got caught and drank the shot I was actually amazed at how smooth it was. But not enough to make me begin the slow broil of my liver by drinking it regularly, in any case.

I’m a beer guy too and I’m willing to bet, ironically, that you probably have a better selection of beer in Itaewon then we have here, despite the (thankfully) plethora of micro-brews now available most everywhere. I was in the MacDill Class 6, a couple weeks ago and noted that the prices were not all that friendly. They had many many beers, though, to include a good selection of Asian beers including the Thai Singha, several Japanese brands, lots of Mexican beers and I was surprised to see San Miguel, from the Phil. I browsed a bit for Korean beer but didn’t see any, though I’m pretty sure it was probably poked away somewhere. But at 8-9 bucks a six-pack for probably most of the imports, the San Miguel stayed on the shelf, even though.

Long ago in Thailand we sometimes used to have to drink Singha because in lots of places that’s all they served. But their domestic product was lots stronger then the export so we used to remark that it was the only beer we ever drank that gave you a hangover while you were still drinking it.

I really miss the tall bottles of OB in Korea. That’s a good size, STM, maybe a half-liter?

Hang in there and enjoy yourself.

  2. I read about this ad somewhere else yesterday, and I thought it was funny when they pronnounced “the day that subtlety died.” That lady is a complete blow-up-blow-job twin. Seven incher,…lmao.
