The good news is! You are right we survived Carter and we will survive this nut. As quick as he is changing things they can be changed back. I think 2010 is not going to be a good year for Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Franks. For that matter there are a # of Rep.s who are going to get tossed as well.

166 was my score. So it says I’m conservative. I don’t know if that means more or less conservative than 209. Fiscally speaking very conservative. Socially more liberal. I believe in individual freedoms with less goverment. So ponder me this “grass-hopper” How in the world could big goverment and taxing me out the arse be considered liberal?

Is this how the post-racial Obama administration begins? That someday the brown can stick around, the yellow can remain mellow, and the white will embrace what’s right?
Even at the inauguration of a black president, we are being called racist.
Mr. President — I want to believe. I want to trust. I want to hope for change — but I am really failing to see how this is any different.

As impressed as we all are with the significance of this moment — we are about to inaugurate the first African American President of the United States — it is possible that our collective giddiness will lead to the worst kind of disappointment. President-elect Barack Obama is being breathlessly compared to FDR, JFK, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. So far — he has won an election.
Even Obama is hyperventilating. In Sunday’s speech, he said “I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States will endure.†Endure? Did he think the country might actually go out of business? Merge with France? Sell out to Wal-Mart? That we might decide that Citigroup was too frail, Iraq too complex and our waistlines too bulging to carry on? What did he mean?

BCBS is only the administrator of the insurance. The goverment, like most large corporations, is self insured. BCBS negotiates for lower prices and keeps a percentage and their admin fee. The gov. and corps. set the coverage. That’s why John was able to go up his own chain of command and get the coverage approved.

I apologize. I took it to mean you were gloating…….as in kicking someone when they are down. That based on the comment the Doctor says you are perfect. Obviously John had gone to the Doctor and is trying to address some of those issues. One last thing I’d like to ask. You mentioned Chantrix. I have my own Doctors appointment the 18th. What were the side effects that made you stop. Most people say it’s like 90% affective?
