I broke out the crock pot for the first time since I’ve been back in the USA and slow cooked some tasty pulled pork barbeque and served it up with the traditional sides. Not pictured is the banana pudding dessert. I don’t make the effort when I’m cooking for one, but I had a visitor last night so I went *ahem* whole hog.
Lookin’ good.
I’ve tried to make it a few times and it either came out too soggy (if I added the sauce during cooking) or too dry.
That’s odd Nomad. I just mix the seasoning, cider vinegar, ketchup, and brown sugar together. Pour it over the meat, set the cooker on low and let it cook 8 hours or so. It always comes out juicy, but never soggy…
where’s the kimchi?
Oh you’re doing it all fancy. I just put the meat in the pot, add BBQ sauce and cook. Not the way to do it, apparently.
