Geez, Kevin, Media Matters? And all they got is one person who shows up at Tea Party events (but not the one at the center of the current controversy) and has been discredited and made unwelcome by Tea Party leaders?
In fact, I bet he’s some left wing plant.
Yep, Media Matters. Don’t worry, I read hotairpundit and Drudge too.
A plant? Really? For a guy that knocks Kool-Aid drinkers, you slug down quite a bit.
I think we can all agree thefringe is crazy on both the right and the left. I just never took you as someone to defend the cooks, much less join them.
Oddly enough, for you to join the crowd attempting to disparage an entire movement as racist, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, makes me wonder what YOU’VE been drinking.
I never took you as one of the sheeple…
How about this: I work a couple blocks away from where the tea party rally was held on the day the health care bill was being considered by the House. You could hear them from my 5th floor office. Not what they were saying but the roar. Me and a couple of my cubicle mates got curious and decided to venture out at lunch. Let me tell you that was an angry vicious crowd.
I do not believe that everyone who has joined the tea party movement is a racist or nutcase but the movement has attracted plenty of folks who fall into those camps. They work themselves into a frenzy so that mob mentality takes over. People who would never dream of uttering a racial remark or something totally stupid like “baby killer” will suddenly cheer on a fellow tea party member who crosses the line. I guess you had to be there to understand the vibe they gave off. We didn’t stick around. It felt like things could get real ugly real quick.
Or how about this:
