So, let me introduce you to some of my fellow Hashers. Seated in the background are Wonder Woman (WW) and Fucking Old Man (FOM), the Hares for the day (the folks who laid the trail). FOM and I got to talking and I learned some interesting shit. FOM also originally hails from Southern California, but he’s got 15 years on me (graduated in 1959). Yeah, he’s aptly named! Something else we have in common is we are both retired civil servants for Uncle Sam. WW is his girlfriend/live-in/wife. Of course I didn’t ask, but I’d wager she’s at least 30 years his junior.
