The problem with comments is resolved. Thanks, Lisa!
Now a challenge for my readers: Everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her knows that Lisa at blogs-about.com is the best dang blog host in the business. In an earlier post I called her my blog mistress. I was thinking in terms of the feminine version of blog master. My wife didn’t seem to care for me calling her that (heck, maybe Lisa didn’t like it either and was just to gracious to say anything). So, what would be the appropriate honorific for the person behind the scenes of this and many other (and better) WordPress blogs?
Now that my comments are working again, I am open to your suggestions.
Well… Webchick? I use “chick” a lot for women, partly because it annoys some of them. “Blogmother”? Really more for whomever gave you that impetus to start blogging. Hmm. I guess I’d settle on “blog guru”, which has all the connotations of “the best blessed blog designer/host expert wonderful I-bow-to-you person”, with none of the baggage of “master” and “mistress”, to the ears of some.
Hi Susanna! Glad you dropped by! I was at your place earlier tonight, miss your comment feature but I understand completely. I had some problems with comment spam, but this blocker Lisa installed has been great so far.
Anyway, I was leaning towards blog goddess, but I guess that might be problematic too. So, yes. Henceforth, Lisa is my blog guru. Thanks!
How does that go . . . I don’t care what you call me, just call me?
Something like that. 🙂
Thanks for the mention, John . . . and special note to Mrs. John – I don’t blame ya one bit! 😉
I’m happy to hear the comment spam thing is working out for you here . . . so far, I’m thrilled with it!
