A trifecta

I got it done yesterday though.

It should come as no surprise that I’m an aholic on multiple levels. And yesterday I excelled at all three. I satisfied my walkaholic urges with a 10+ kilometer solo jaunt. And then I got my dartaholic groove on with a victory in my singles league match. I finished the night at a new bar called McCoy’s which soothed my alcoholic cravings. Isn’t it great when everything comes together like that?

The walk

The darts:

I actually threw pretty crappy, just good enough to win.

And the drinking? Well, that’s a bit of a blur.

Today’s a new day and I started it with a long hike I’ll post about tomorrow. And more darts are on tap tonight, in fact, I’m running late right now. And yes, there will be beers but I prefer to think of them as aiming fluid.

Gotta run now. Full story tomorrow!

  1. Seems to have been a slightly longer walk than usual, but if I recall correctly, your daily step count translates to well over 10K of walking on average because you hoof it several times a day. Keep up the good work. As for nullifying your healthy behavior by drinking… I’m in no moral position to preach any sermons on that score. Besides, you drink light beer, don’t you?

  2. Thursday is my day for taking a bit longer morning walk than normal. I hit 20,000 steps as I walked through the front door when I got home. I thought that was pretty cool.

Yes, it is always light beer and usually Zero (low alcohol, low carbs) so I don’t drink in moderation but I also don’t get too drunk…
