My daughter and son-in-law will be at Humphreys at the end of this month, they got a command sponsored tour courtesy of the army. First PCS for them, should be a hoot.

As for your cough, I think the air in Seoul has something to do with that. During the 16 months we lived up there, I developed a constant cough, and our plants started slowly turning color…as soon as we moved back down to Songtan, the cough was gone and our plants returned to a nice healthy green.» Posted By Frank On 18/December/2016 @ 10:29 pm

Many moons ago, when I was in the AF in Korea, we used to go TDY down to Clark AB for a month at a time for the Cope Thunder exercises. The PI is a beautiful place, but the rampant poverty was depressing to see. Back then (late 80s) it was like the wild west down there; I enjoyed the warm weather, cheap food and drinks but I was always glad to get back to Korea.

Kevin: The question is not why John hates America. But, why do you hate America? John, per his blog, has worked for the federal goverment his entire adult life. His retirement, medical and lively-hood all depend on America. You are the one who want’s to change it. We simply want to keep it as it has been for over 200 years. The greatest country in history. You want to strip everything we have worked for and give it to someone else. Why? Are you that lazy you can’t support yourself without the goverment telling you how to live? “The official White House Christmas tree, which features controversial ornaments including an orb depicting the late Chinese dictator Mao Zedong, another that shows drag queen Hedda Lettuce, and yet another that shows a picture of Mount Rushmore — with Obama’s head pasted to the side of Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt’s”. Congress telling us that bribes are business as usual. Explain to me how under this health care bill, where we (individuals & businesses) are going to required to purchase insurance or be fined, do illegal aliens fall in. They are allowed to have but not punished if they don’t. Oh it’s just a joke. No it’s not a joke. 2010 will show how this is not funny at all. Democrats/liberals have no class at all. You are going to take a beating at the polls unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Then it will be decades before you see any power at all. I’m ashamed of the generation we have raised. And all you had to do was show some class and debate the issues. No, that’s not good enough Liberals had to show the world how they are the best. Yeah the best at lying, cheating, hiding, bribing and controling. Oh I forgot…it’s all “W’s” fault.

Every member of the Democratic party should be up for treason charges. Not only are they passing a bill the majority of Americans are against they are doing it with bribes right in front of the citizens of this country. The bill itself has been hiden behind closed doors. Congress and Marxist Obama are taking over this country. Things could get very real. Let’s just hope someone with the money can sue these b—–ds and carry it right to the supreme court. As far as paying for someone elses health care it’s not my job. And hell no I don’t want my taxes to pay for this socialism.

Kevin: That is a strech by anyone’s common sense. Jihadists are killing people for the simple reason that those people don’t believe in their religion. Abortion is taking a life. No way around it. I agree that anyone who takes innocent life is a nut. True Christians have not had their religion hijacked. Christians have and will continue to condem any murder.

Sarkozy and Brown are going down hill as fast as Obama. James: Have you really looked at those countries economies or their health-care? That’s what you really want for the US? Tort reform, regulatory restraints against pharmaceutical high costs and CEO pay are all things we can agree on. But, to allow the goverment to control anything is a joke. That’s why we are in the mess we are in. When social security was implemented it was a lock-box account. When LBJ came in with his social agenda he unlocked it. That’s why it is damn near bankrupt. All our goverment did was treat it as a general fund for their pork barrel projects to get re-elected. Obmama’s social agenda is only making matter worse. The citizens you speak of are laughing at us because we are being brought down to their level. The stimulus that we had to have or we would go above 8% unemployment has been a total failure. Even Obama’s economic advisor stated Sunday it would be very unlikely that the stimulus would do anything going into 2010. In Germany where you state the left threatened strongly was only possible because of US dollars going to Europe. That is the whole point of socialism. You eventually run out of somebody else’s money. Cap and tax and a public option will tax all of us to the point of poverty. We don’t have a US to prop us up.

All good points on both sides here. However, the main point is why the President and his staff are attacking any news outlet. If they can refute certain articles then refute them. This is Chavez at his best. This president has spoken more lies than any elected official in US history. He and his wife are racist. Any contrary arguement is a sham. 2010 will show how the American public feels. After those elections we will know. To continue to attack Bush (Kevin) just shows how far the brainwash has gone. Bush said what he was going to do and he did it (right/wrong). He has not said anything to defend himself from all the liberal attacks. All Obama does is attack anyone and anything that disagrees. This is by far the most corrupt, under the table, secrative administration ever elected. Not even Nixon came close. Campaign, campaign is all they do. Not on one item can they actually defend the decisions made. Unemployment and the economy are both still in shambles. Yet this group says they have saved the world. BS. I have never seen anyone spend their way out of debt. 450 billion deficit to a 10 trillion deficit is going to fix what? Unless George Soros or Michele tells him what to do this President can’t make a decision. “EMPTY SUIT” is a very kind description. Liberals in the US should take note. Conservatives, when the power shifts, will not back-up next time. Liberals have shown that they fully intend on taking over this country. They will fail. When conservatives again take control liberals will be decades from regaining power.

I’m with you on this one Kev. Never been a great fan. How anyone can defend his actions is beyond me. At 1st the accusations against Jennings the “Safe school Czars” were beyond my rebuttal. Beck was called a liar. Now “in writing” and actions it certainly appears this guy (Jennings) is way off the chart. Time and time again it is who Obama has surrounded himself with. I think even liberals are starting to recognize that Obama is not a liberal he is far more than that. He truly believes that the destruction of this country is the right thing to do. He has said many times it should be a 1 world goverment. I think we can guess who he thinks should lead it. Register as an independent. Vote in both primaries and let’s get rid of all these incumbents. Our congress is so corrupt they allow a crimial (Blogjevich) to appoint Roland Burris just to get a vote. Mass. legislature is changing the law so the Dem. Gov. can appoint a Dem. replacement for Kennedy. A law Kennedy fought for and had passed in Mass. Now only to be changed so a vote can be had. And guess what? Burris will have full senate retirement and health coverage. They (congress) will not even apply the same rules to themselves. We by far have the most corrupt goverment in history. That includes both Dems and Repubs. It really is time for people to start raising heck. Give me give me rules the day.

I pointed out in an earler comment that Ford out-sold both GM and Chrysler combined. Ford being the only automaker not taking goverment bailout money. I also mentioned it was the Asian market (Japanese)who got our tax dollars. If you can refute these facts feel free to do so.

But, as Kevin has noted with John, no reason not to have fun even if you disagree. I happen to be of the opinion that electing Obama was a terrible mistake. The G-20 summit is an example. Debtor nations increased their voting share from 43% to 48%. Soon the European Union and the IMF will dictate to the US finacial policy. Good bye Declaration of Independence hello socialism.

The weekend you guys were blowing it out at Lake Marion a 17 year old girl caught (dispatched) a 10ft aligator there. You just never know what lurks in the shadows…lol Actually it is very rare that a gator will go into the open water. They prefer the swamps, smaller streams ect…. But, you just never know…ha ha
