Hello John,
Vietnam is a beautiful country, but unfortunately I read many of these types of comments re: fraudulent credit card usage from recent visitors.
Did you use your card there to pay for anything, or as a guarantee to cover possible room incidentals? There are some concerns disgruntled hotel workers may pass on your details to scammers.
Worth paying attention if you have used other cards whilst there too.
Do you have an attached banking app for these cards? Usually they will allow you to lock the card when it isn’t needed, rendering it useless all other times.

Good morning John,
This morning while attempting to connect to your blog on the PC, I received a warning from my anti-virus program that it is trying to redirect me to a spam/scam site and that I should close your site.
I know you have had this blog for a considerable time, so just curious if this is a regular occurrence, or today is an anomaly?
(I am using my phone with a Virtual Private Network at the moment, and not getting any such warning this time)

John, as both a marriage counselor and an alcohol/narcotic rehabilitation specialist, have you thought that possibly Swan solely attends these establishments just to humor you?
The bible tells of Eve tempting Adam with an apple, but in reality it can work both ways. You give Swan a comfortable life. Her alternatives are likely significantly worse. Is it possible she comes with you to girlie bars and brothels just to keep you happy lest she risk angering you and derailing her good thing?
It didn’t seem like she partook in visiting such places or daily drinking before. You are, with due respect, an old fart and have been around the block a million times In your case, drink up, I say…..you may knock a couple of years off your life expectancy, but at least you will do so with a smile on your face.
But….judgements aside, is it wise to bring her down the same path?
I don’t mean to sound pompous or accusatory, but do you think it may be a better choice to keep her away from the drink?

Is Gary that frequently posts here and regularly insults other posters the same Gary that you Hash with – the handsome blond fella? Weird if so…..that gentleman seems quite affable and charming, not the slightest bit as aggressive and insulting as his cyber-namesake here.

By the way, I am a licensed counsellor with a focus on relationship issues. While I am in Canada these days, I can happily Skype or Zoom. I wouldn’t charge you anything (at first at least ha ha) as I have been reading your blogs from the old Korea days and found them entertaining. So I am happy to help.
I always find it is best to nip these relationship issies in the bud before they become violent again.
Once is kind of a warning sign – often there can be a lot of tension simmering beneath the surface, and left unchecked things can get a lot messier quickly.Sincerely
