Hung out to dry

The USA is a trade zone pretending to be a nation. Until the “money changers” are chased out of government Jesus-style, and politicians see their jobs as more than collecting K-Street bribes, the place will remain a threat to global stability.

No shame in not trying

The wild west years in Korea had a LOT of those multi-hour gaps in your daily schedule. Some owners insisted employees stay on site just in case a demo lesson was needed but eventually they accepted that the foreign staff were going to leave for the afternoon or they were going to leave for good.
