I need to read more. No jacked up Camaro’s that I’ve seen, but Dave New is driving a hot new Mustang GT convertable around base. Does that qualify?

Yeah Scott, the sky was really that blue (on that day anyway). The base is nice though, wide streets, trees, and no motorbikes on the sidewalks…almost like home….

Thanks, Kevin. I appreciate your support and advice. This is something I intended to do from day 1, but I got lost in the fog of Itaewon. I remember once two women were speaking German in my Itaewon bar and I said, “damn it, you are in Korea, speak English!” So, it was time to get with the program.

Yeah, I understand. As fun as darts are, it is good to keep your priorities straight and keep peace on the home front. Of course, maybe the wife could start playing darts with you…problem solved eh?
Anyway, look forward to having a game with you someday. Sometimes its more fun to just play without the pressure of league competition. I get pretty intense sometimes which is fine, but a friendly game is more conducive to having a few laughs along the way.

Yes, Kevin. I am practically famous! Actually, what trips me out is people keep coming back for more of the inane drivel I serve up here at LTG. Site Meter tells me there are about 50 or so masochists who drop by for a dose of pain on a daily basis.
Or maybe people visit when they are feeling down and come away thinking “at least I’m not him!”. So, call this blog a public service.

Yeah Craig, my instructor was adament about that. He saw the pen in my left hand and made a big deal about it. Like I say, it was no problem for me to switch, but I find it quite interesting that you have students writing Hangul left handed. Hell, I even try to use chopsticks with my right hand and have the stains on my shirts to prove it!

Yeah, posting more for sure, but then I have LOTS less distractions here (no bars within walking distance for instance). Plus, being wide awake at 3:30 am local time helps too.

Aly, yes for a small country there are quite a few things to see and do of interest. The culture here is very old and quite fascinating. It starts turning colder in November, but it will still be nice enough to go out and about. Don’t know how long you’ll be staying or where you will be, but you won’t lack for ways to fill the time. Check out some of the other Korea blogs. Start with Lost Nomad (link on my sidebar)and he has access to just about all the Korea blogs from there. Well, I don’t know. Those are the actual buildings at the DMZ, but they must be a backdrop with the dance scene superimposed or something. There is absolutely no way this could have been done on site. Security is much too tight.

Well, you know Jeff the more you talk the less it calls for a response. Your words make the case for your ignorance far better than my feeble attempts might do. I don’t see this connection between religon and democracy. I worship freedom, and the only hate I hold is for those who would try to steal that from me. That is what the Islamofacists have pledged to do. So if Ranger Bill and the all the other brave soldiers are taking the fight to the terrorists in Iraq they have my total support. Better to kill them in the streets of Baghdad rather than New York. If you don’t grasp that, what can I possibly say to enlighten you?
