See, I had never considered the absurdity of a “more perfect” union. I guess I just assumed Mr. Madison(?) intended to convey the desire to strive for perfection, knowing that government perfection is an oxymoron.
I don’t recall ever covering this kind of detail in my English classes. We were just taught stuff like not ending sentences in a preposition, at least as far as I’m aware of.

Yeah, the first night I was up until 0430 watching, then my eyes finally gave out. Day 2 was spread out more and I finished relatively early, around 0100. That’s rare for me though as nothing seems hold my interest that much these days

Haha, I actually had to look up Cackalackey. I assumed it was something to do with the South, but wasn’t aware of the Carolina connection. Although in retrospect, I guess it should have been easy to surmise.

I appreciate that Kevin. I don’t normally take the bait, but this got to me for some reason. I was questioning whether I overreacted, but your take seems to confirm my own.
He was one of the guys kicked out of the other bar and I suspect he is trying to enforce a boycott to satisfy his own personal vendetta.

Yep, I’m pretty philosophical about it all. And of course those “-ected’s” infected the post by design, although the concept seemed more satisfying in my head than it turned out in writing.
When I get back to Korea next time I may well ask KBS if I’m the voice they’ve been looking for. Or listening for if you will.

I don’t know that there is any guarantee per se. The one I purchased is rated about the same as the hand held ones the police use. The literature indicates that they are accurate +/- .01 if used properly. You are also supposed to have them re-calibrated annually. So, if I stick to my resolve and stay at or below .05 BAC I should be okay. It will certainly be more accurate than my guesstimates.

Well, to be fair we did have four glasses of wine as well. But when you have a row of forks and cutlery at each setting (and a white tablecloth!), you could call that ambiance I suppose. Seriously, the food was well prepared and the service was excellent. Our table was in a room with two other tables (only one of which was occupied) and we had a nice view of Namsan tower.
Would I go back? Not if I were paying. Which I guess is a review in itself.

Thirsty, yeah darts players are generally speaking non-violent. In fact, this dispute wasn’t even about the dart match we had just finished, even though the guys were on opposite teams. Apparently, they had played for money earlier in the week and the bad feelings flowed from that. Which is why I rarely ever play for money.
