Thanks, Eva. Have we met?

Places like that? Maybe not. But her being there brought a lot of joy (and a good night’s wages) into their life. Folks who judge people doing their best to support families and yet do nothing to improve the lives of these girls are not helping at all. I’m always happy when I go home with the feeling that my presence made someone’s life just a little bit easier.

Doesn’t read the blog as far as I know. But she’s a smart gal and figured it out as soon as we walked into one of the bars and she saw Korean men “making it rain.” Details coming in part 2!

Billy, yes I had it made at the tailor shop in the Gallery. Cheaper off post, but I was in a hurry…

Kevin, mianaehamnida! You’ve taught me that before but old habits die hard. I will make it a point to think before I write or speak the word for grilled pork belly. Yup. I will.
As a matter of fact Eun Oke lived several years in New Zealand and briefly in the USA. All my friends advise me to slow it down and my head agrees. My heart keeps saying fuck that, go for it. I’ve decided to take her with me to the Philippines next month. Sand to the beach if you will. We’ll see how she reacts to that experience!

Yes, that’s Eun Oke. I’m looking forward to getting to know her better.
I’m also wondering if maybe it’s counting downhill stairs as well. Anyway, accurate or not, as long as it is consistent I’ve got a solid baseline for measuring progress.

Kamsamnida Kevin Kim. Or should I just say KKK?
» Posted By John McCrarey On 09/August/2016 @ 7:45 pm
Yeah, I wished I’d had one. Better that than an umbrella.

Take it to the limit (part deux)
I died from drowning Billy…
Thanks, Soju. Nope, no LQA until I move to Pyeongteak…

Thanks, Widow.

Thanks, Kevin.
Just when I think I’ve exhausted all the untried trails and approaches, it seems I see new pathways to try. I actually did the circumnavigation because a) it had rained earlier and the trails would be muddy, and b) I didn’t feel like climbing those fucking steps.
Oh well, I figure Magellan made so many discoveries because he had a bitch of a wife he didn’t want to return home to…

Wow, thanks for commenting Leora. Hope you are well.

Yeah, hopefully I’ll nip it in the bud. I’m pretty sure it derives from copious amounts of sweat in my eyes and the subsequent wiping with my not so clean sweat rag.7

I’m not a piece of meat! I am a human being!
But being objectified wouldn’t bother me one bit…

Billy, no I don’t anything about Guam divorce. Sorry.

Yeah, but if China starts fucking around we can just say…fuck you, we ain’t paying you that money we owe…

Haha, I hadn’t noticed the resemblance until you pointed it out.
It is a Solomon-like sale…all prices cut in half!

At least I kept my head about me…
That’s funny. I’m familiar with the Kipling poem “If” but I must have channeled it subconsciously.
Your comment prompted me to go read it again which proved to be a good reminder.
Thanks!
Oh, and Duterte was inaugurated on July 1. So far lots of drug dealers have turned themselves in. Others have already started dying of “lead poisoning”. Should be interesting times in the PI.

I’m a thousand miles from nowhere…
Yeah, there was a time she loved me.
Always been a fan of Adams’ work. I’ve got a couple of framed prints. Well, until the garage sale I’ll have them.

So, you see intensity as more beneficial that endurance? I enjoy walking but it eats up a lots of hours. I’m going to have to consider perhaps adding something different to my routine, although climbing stairs doesn’t sound appealing. Maybe a gym and weight training…

“horny women will be piling on top of you like rugby players.”
Haha! One can dream.

I was familiar with the Neil Diamond version. Really like Johnny’s take. Thanks for sharing…

Billy, pretty much. Lots of protein almost no sugars or starches. It’s been pretty effective so far.
