I’m not the man I used to be

Facebook tells me this was exactly two years ago.

This is me last night. Still need to drop 20 pounds or so, but I seem to have flatlined. Of course, all that beer drinking isn’t helping I’m sure.

Ah well, fatter and happier versus a less fat lonely wretch.  You don’t get to choose, you just learn to deal with it.  More or less.

  1. No yang without eum, I guess (“eum” is how Koreans say “yin”). And given how you’re significantly healthier than before, I’d say that, for some things in life, at least, you do get to choose. I tip my hat to you for having made many right choices.

  2. HA! This is true. I would never have done to her what she did to me, but as some friends have noted, she gave me the freedom to pursue a new life. At some point I hope to be grateful for that…

  3. Unrecognizable. Can’t believe that’s you 2 years ago. Kudos to you brother John. You look so much healthier and fit. If I were gay I’d be all over you like white on rice. Peace out!
