I’m easy…

…easy like Sunday morning.

So I’m not sure if this is the end of my week or the beginning of a new one.  It’s been so damn long since I’ve had a day off I’ve lost track.  But seriously, the days here all have a sameness about them which makes one day pretty much indistinguishable from the next.

Like my walks for example.  Sure, I try and mix them up a little.  It helps having the Hash and Sausage Walkers in that regard.  But a walk in the park or a walk on the highway is still a walk, right?  This was my week:

  • Sunday–21,000 steps (I round up/down at 500)
  • Monday–22,000
  • Tuesday–14,000 (had to do the grocery shopping and blew off the morning walk)
  • Wednesday–24,000
  • Thursday–28,000 (not sure why I was so inspired)
  • Friday–23,000
  • Saturday–25,000

All in all not a bad week’s work.  Here’s some stuff I saw along the way:

When you are full of the Christmas Spirit but can’t afford decorations.  It may be trashy but I’ll give points for creativity!
On the other hand, this trashed creek is disgusting.  All the more so because it’s the swimming hole for those neighborhood kids in the background.  I honestly do not understand the Filipino mentality when it comes to littering.  There is apparently no social stigma associated with tossing garbage whenever and wherever you please.
I understand y’all in Seoul and parts of the USA are experiencing a cold spell.  Here’s a picture of me on the beach.  It’s nicer in the Philippines!

What else?  Well, I got to feel like a proud grandpa this morning:

Good job Gracyn!

And that’s what’s cookin’ here.  Oh, and this:

A Sunday pot roast begins it’s journey in the crockpot.

Life is good.

Why in the world
Would anybody put chains on me?
I've paid my dues to make it
Everybody wants me to be
What they want me to be
I'm not happy when I try to fake it!
No!
Ooh, that's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
