Sorry, but until I can get this disgusting comment spam under control, I have to use comment moderation. I will not edit or delete reader comments, but it may cause a few hours delay before they appear.

UPDATE: No, I changed my mind. I might have found a different short term fix. Comments are subject to moderation without notice if that fix does not hold….
Let me know if the fix works. When they start coming in the system will hold them. Then go to “edit” click on “awaiting moderation” and you can blow them away from there. I have found that once you start doing this, a few ‘good’ posts may slip in there so watch carefully. Hope it works for you. Let me know if you have any more questions.
I’ve been using Kitten’s Spaminator since I got hit on Christmas. On Christmas! Have these spammers no shame? Anyway, once I installed the plug-in, it started eating all my spam.

Good luck, John – I’ve been having similar probs with the trackback feature. Things seem to be better today so I’ve stopped moderating comments … for now. Some of the most disgusting stuff came through yesterday to moderate 🙁
