Who’s gonna be punished? Who’s the enemy?

The president had this to say to Hispanic voters:

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies, and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us’ — if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election — then I think it’s going to be harder. And that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd.”

House Republican Leader John Boehner responded:

In remarks prepared for delivery at an election-eve rally in Cincinnati, Boehner seized on the “enemies” passage: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a president in the White House who referred to Americans who disagree with him as ‘our enemies.’ … Mr. President, there’s a word for people who have the audacity to speak up in defense of freedom, the Constitution, and the values of limited government that made our country great. We don’t call them ‘enemies.’ We call them ‘patriots.'”

Hell, I don’t know who’s right.  Let’s let the ignorant, angry and unwashed voters decide the issue.  I’m guessing the patriots will defeat the enemy, but what do I know?

“Corrupt bastards”

No wonder they hate Fox News–because Fox isn’t on the hunt for child molesters.

And it doesn’t “forget” to air Republican campaign ads.

But mostly it’s because us “rubes” are seeing behind the curtain.

But maybe if the ruling elite and their left wing media toadies occasionally took a look at what’s happening outside the beltway, this wouldn’t be such a surprise:

Heading into what appears to be a disastrous midterm election, the Obama Democrats profess to be puzzled. The president’s record, they insist, is moderate, accommodating, if anything overcautious. So why do most American voters seem to be angrily rejecting it?

That’s one way of looking at it. Another way is to say that the Obama administration and the Democratic Congress have increased government’s share of gross domestic product from 21 percent, where it’s hovered for the last several decades, to about 25 percent and have put the national debt on a trajectory to increase from 40 percent to 90 percent of GDP.

Voters have noticed — and don’t like it.

It’s time to throw the bums out.  Today!  Vote early, vote often!
UPDATE:  And then there is this from ABCNews.
