					<description>Its not just folks losing their unemployment and medicaid, its folks losing their jobs.  Sure the jobs will be restored once the bill finally passes but until them how do they eat or pay their light bill?  These aren't just Federal jobs but state jobs and contractors.  Highway construction projects are coming to a halt.  Commuters already experiencing longer commutes because of the construction project will have to wait a little longer for it to be completed and burn more gas.  Its a domino effect.

I totally agree with him that spending should be balanced with cutting but this is the guy who voted against the recent measure to balance the budget.  Its okay the Republicans pretty much ran him out of office-he is retiring soon.  The suspicion is that he is suffering from senility.</description>
